Skip to content Destiny Electric is a professional electrician based in Orange Park, FL. From lighting and fixtures to electrical upgrades, we offer a wide range of electrical services in residential, commercial and industrial applications.
Are you tired of waiting over twenty-four hours just to get a partial charge on your electric vehicle using a standard wall outlet? Modern electric vehicles need a dedicated, high-voltage power source to charge efficiently, and dated electrical panels just can’t keep up with that kind of demand. Upgrading your home infrastructure with a dedicated fast-charging setup is the best way to get your vehicle road-ready on your own schedule.
At Destiny Electric, we specialize in certified electrical upgrades designed to maximize safety, eliminate electrical fire hazards, and safely power your eco-friendly investment. Serving the entire Greater Jacksonville region, our licensed technicians install premium Level 2 charging stations with total precision. We make upgrading your garage or driveway completely stress-free, offering a free estimate on all charging station installations to get you moving quickly.
Relying on a standard 120-volt Level 1 cordset means your vehicle only tricks in a few miles of range per hour. Furthermore, continuous heavy draw on an ordinary household circuit can lead to dangerous overheating if your system hasn’t been evaluated by a professional.
If you are transitioning to an electric vehicle, consider these crucial infrastructure facts:
Standard wall outlets are shared across multiple rooms, which can trip breakers when your vehicle tries to draw power simultaneously with other household appliances.
A professional Level 2 charging station utilizes a dedicated 240-volt circuit, cutting your total charging time down to just a few hours.
If it’s been ages since you’ve updated your wiring, your property likely needs comprehensive electrical remodeling services before adding heavy continuous loads.
Professional installation helps prevent damage to sensitive electronics inside both your home and your vehicle’s battery pack.
A Level 2 charging station requires its own isolated path back to your breaker box to operate safely. Our experienced team installs dedicated new circuits specifically engineered to handle the continuous amperage required by your vehicle’s onboard charger. We size the wiring and safety breakers perfectly, ensuring your system runs cool and complies fully with local building requirements.
Because charging an electric vehicle draws a substantial amount of continuous power, your current electrical panel box must have the physical and electrical capacity to support it. If your breaker box is already running near its limit, we specialize in upgrading homes to modern electrical panels. Your dedicated local electrician can help you anticipate your future power needs so your home seamlessly transitions into the green energy era.
We don’t just run the wires—we handle the entire physical setup. Whether you purchased a Tesla Wall Connector, a universal ChargePoint, or an outdoor-rated station, your local electrician can safely upgrade your meter socket, lighting, and electrical panel layout to anchor and configure your new charging hardware exactly where you need it. We test the power flow thoroughly to guarantee a safe, optimal charge every single time.
When you partner with Destiny Electric, you select a local team that puts uncompromising safety and transparent customer service first on every single job site. We customize your system to meet your exact energy needs, strictly adhere to national electrical codes, and always treat your home with the absolute highest level of professional respect.
